A FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT

My friend and i were just walking along a busy street.Suddenly ,we heard screatching of breaks to speak the
truth nakend , we stood stock still in a wave of confusion .To our shock and utter surprise ,it was an accident
.Within a wig and wag of a dog's tail ,we paddled  our  hoooved  to the  scene  .To speak point blank ,what we
saw made our eyes to get out of their sockets .To place the cards on the tables ,blood was flowing like a waterfall
.People lay in a pool of blood,we racked our minds on what had caused the accident but it was like to look for a
needle in a haystack .At last ,we asked the eye witnesses. For their information ,they said that the Matatus were
overspeeding .They said that the driver for the Bus lost control and tried to apply brakes but brakes failed.
The Lorry rolled several times and landed on a ditch.Within a hestation ,we made a call to the police .Within
a dint of a second ,the police arrived accompanied by an ambulance with a siren blaring.People who died on
the spot were to the morgue while the minor victims were rushed to the hospitalfor tretment. It is then i realised
'hurry hurry has no blessings .'Surealy, the day remains like a black spot in my precious mind until ebb-day.What a hectic day it had been''' By a class7 girl Kasungwa Musomba
